Wow what a great and extensive list. I'm going to have to check out that No Ping plugin for sure.

I totally love SEO Title Tag. I've been using that one for a while and would recommend it to anyone. Which other SEO plugins would you suggest should be running along with it, if any?

  • Keith · 2 years ago
You did a brilliant job, mate! Looks like I have a lot more plugins to implement onto my blog site.

I wish someone would write SEO plugin for CMS as well, e.g. Drupal.
  • Dj Flush · 2 years ago
Thanks! The reason Wordpress has more SEO friendly plugins than any other CMS is because of its easy-to-understand and stable coding.

I think Wordpress is more powerful than any other CMS like Mambo, Joomla or Drupal.
  • Arnab Ganguly · 2 years ago
This is probably the single reason why people are moving from normal blogspot blogs to wordpress blogs.
  • Dj Flush · 2 years ago
It definitely is the reason! and now Wordpress 2.3 has built in SEO friendly URL Redirection :D

    Take that you blogger :P

I come in from Daily Blog Tips, this is an excellent list. I've been using HeadSpace for a while, I was looking for plugins that do what HeadSpace doesn't.

    Thank you.
  • Ross Johnson · 2 years ago
Great list I'm using a few of them
  • Milad · 2 years ago
    Thanks a lot!
    It is a useful list.
Wait, is having a WP installed on a subdomain good or bad?!
  • Dj Flush · 2 years ago
First of all everyone thank you for appreciating the post and me as well :D

Milad You are welcome. Wordpress can be installed on a subdomain easily and there is nothing good or bad about it but it might not get you that much traffic which you usually get when Wordpress is installed on a TLD domain.

I wrote 400 posts in wordpress before realising the benefit of seo friendly urls. I now want to use them from this point on.
But as I still get many google hits from the old 400 posts, I don't want to lose them. How can I get round this problem?
    Thank you
  • Dj Flush · 1 year ago
    @Sheridan

Permalink Migration is exactly the plugin that can help you out in this case.
  • tsoft · 1 year ago
This is a very helpful list. Keep up the good work!
  • Wordpress SEO Plugin · 1 year ago
Wordpress is a great blogging platform and getting it search engine optimized really isn't a hard task. Using proper permalinks and robots.txt file to prevent duplicate content and a few other methods can really make a difference. The All in One SEO plugin is really the best bet.
  • Roshan · 1 year ago
