Wow. A 4th update! Is it really that hard finding a document or an image? Even if it was hard or tricky or time consuming, what is the longest time takes to find a file on your computer? I never spent more than 2 minutes finding anything I wanted. Wow.

Well you can't just say that Windows Search is totally useless. It really helps sometimes.

I like the Vista Search as it is real-time and provides faster search results. If the same Search feature could be introduced to Windows XP, it would be really great.

Key benefits of Windows Search include:

    1. User Experience that Helps You Stay Productive: Windows Search has a familiar user interface for instantly finding files and e-mail messages located on your PC and connected resources-plus one-click access to move, delete, copy, burn, attach, or drag and drop files where you need them.
    2. Enterprise Ready: Windows Search is easy to deploy and manage, with enterprise-class security that prevents unauthorized access to sensitive information.
    3. Rich and Flexible Development Platform: Windows Search is easily extensible for third-party developers and IT professionals to build upon, offering comprehensive APIs for developers to display user search query results in custom applications and tools using the .NET Framework or a COM interface.
