I'd rather recommend Ubuntu netbook remix if you need a real OS with loads os applications. It is very orientes tu netbooks with it's special interface and it's very solid.

I use OSX on my EEE1000H + Ubuntu UNR Dual boot. Both work pretty cool

Great article. I've tried Moblin on my laptop, no luck getting the darn thing to display. I'm using Xubuntu and gOS already and can't bring myself to decide which I like better. I'd like to try the gOS Cloud when it's available.

Excellent list I have heard about Moblin and Joli Cloud and yes like nirmal says windows 7 works good on a netbook

Just to add to this, Windows 7 Home Premium and Ultimate also works great on Netbooks, I have installed on ASUS EEE PC
