Has anybody else read the reviews on the Hero? Granted, they called it the best android phone yet, but they also called it laggy, and it's multimedia capabilities aren't ranked so great either. It looks like i'll be waiting for some real world reviews by some of you early adopters..Share your views at http://www.HTC-Hero.com would love to heard what you think.

To be very honest, I didn't like the camera in the Hero too even though its 5megapixel, the camera in the iPhone is way much better.

But as for the keyboard thingy, I prefer phones with non-physical keyboards so its a nice option for me.

Overall, the OS in the Hero is also much better optimized than Android in the G1.

Ive got the HTC Dream, and absolutely love Android :) I wanted to go for the hero but the qwerty kb in the G1 was more attractive than the non kb Hero..
The camera of the G1 isnt that good (infact its TOO sensitive.. gets blurry if u dont hold absolutely still).. and i think that the Hero wud have the same issue.. am i correct DJ ?

Would definitely like to read your thoughts on the camera functionality of the Hero. Engadget's examples showed that the colours did look a bit washed out (compared to some of the sample shots in the comments for the N97) just like LG ViewTY (which I have) and it would be great to find out more about actual user experience!

I really wanted to do that! but my DSLR lens is not giving much attractive output from any angle so I decided to leave out on the photos.
